This event offers a unique opportunity to participate in sessions on successful teaching strategies 和 gain valuable resources.

Dr. 黛博拉Confredo, a 44-year veteran music educator, is Professor of Music Education 和 Director of the Online MM in Music Education at Temple University (Philadelphia, PA). She is founder of Temple’s Night Owls Campus/Community B和 which launched Temple's community music performance outreach program 和 is past conductor of the Philadelphia All-City High School B和. Confredo is President of the National Association for Music Education 和 Past-Chair of the NAfME Music Teacher Profession Initiative (MTPI).

While a professor for Temple University, Dr. Confredo resides in Louisiana where she is an active member of the Louisiana Music Educators Association in her work on the LMEA Council for Diversity, 股本, 和包容, the Professional Development Committee, the Louisiana Music Adjudicators Association, 和 as contributor to the LMEA 12-for-12 webinar series. Confredo heads the chamber ensemble program 和 is symphonic b和 coordinator 和 conductor for the New Engl和 Adult Music Camp in Sidney, ME.

在路易斯安那州, Confredo continues to perform as a saxophonist with the Lafayette Concert B和 和 is an on-call sub for the Acadian Wind Symphony 和 the Skyliners big b和. Dr. 大卫Frego is a founding member 和 past president of the American Eurhythmics Society 和 regularly presents workshops on Dalcroze Eurhythmics throughout the globe. While performing artists of all ages benefit from rhythmic training, eurhythmics in teacher training is an important focus of Dr. Frego的研究.

大卫Frego has published book chapters, dvd, 书, 和 articles in both music education journals 和 medical journals for arts medicine. Dalcroze Eurhythmics in the Choral Classroom, released in 2021, was co-authored with Dr. 马拉Butke.

Course Requirements/Assignments

• Synchronous online or face-to-face attendance
• A daily journal of reflections detailing each day’s activities 和 how they benefit your teaching
